1) Study, explore, investigate, calculate, analyze, and monitor hydrological variations; process hydrological, meteorological, and applied hydrology data.
2) Plan, survey, inspect, install, repair, improve, maintain, and enhance the efficiency of hydrological and meteorological stations, automatic remote water monitoring systems, and early warning systems.
3) Monitoring, tracking, and providing warnings about floods, flash floods, and droughts, and strengthening the monitoring network.
4) Monitor, analyze, forecast, and assess the water situation, and integrate data to support water balance and allocation.
5) Provide consultation, advice, disseminate, and transfer knowledge in hydrology to agencies and the public in the responsible area.
6) Collaborate with or support the operations of other relevant or assigned agencies.
***The Hydrology Division 2, Singburi, is responsible for an area covering 9 provinces: Singburi, Lopburi, Ang Thong, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan, and Bangkok.
